Our TOP 5 Elvis Presley Bobble Heads
“A Fitting Tribute to Elvis!”
Our Rating: 5
First up on our top Elvis Presley bobble heads list is this undoubted classic Elvis Aloha from Hawaii bobblehead.
This Royal Bobbles Elvis Presleycollectible figure is more or less how each and every one of us imagines the rock legend.
It’s got everything that even the most casual Elvis fan associates with this cultural icon.
That includes the white jumpsuit; the bedazzled fabric (and come on, Elvis is nothing without some fine bedazzling); the whole works!
And then, of course, there’s the signature lip curl that made millions of boys want to look like Elvis and all the girls want to be with him.
So, let’s go ahead and see what you’re getting from premium Elvis Presley bobble heads like this one.
A Whole Lotta Rocking
First off, this Royal Bobbles Elvis Presley toy comes in the standard RB packaging for their limited edition bobblehead line.
That is to say, you’re getting a four-color box with no windows on it.
It instead features prototype photos and still images of the King printed in high quality cardboard.
Now, we here at Shrunk Collectibles personally like how RB presents their offerings from this line.
But you might not appreciate it if you’re one of those MISB (mint in sealed box) collectors.
That’s mainly due to the fact that you won’t get to see what you’re getting from this package without opening it.
Perfect Mint Condition
On the plus side, RB’s limited edition figure line very rarely commits any flops or flubs—this Elvis Aloha from Hawaii bobblehead being no exception.
As such, you could rest assured that the contents of this Aloha from Hawaii special piece feature Elvis Presley in all his mint condition glory.
Based on his Aloha from Hawaii concert, this Royal Bobbles Elvis Presley bobblehead is officially licensed by the company.
So you could make damn sure that it’s as accurate as possible.
Meticulously hand-sculpted and individually hand-painted, this is probably one of the best Elvis Presley bobble heads you could get right now.
The likeness, for lack of a better term, is impeccable.
You simply have to commend RB with how they manage to come up with some of the most accurate face mapping techniques with their releases.
From head to toe, Elvis bobbleheads like this have little to no flaws whatsoever.
Moreover, you’re especially going to appreciate its size, which is at a more than decent 8 inches tall.
Well, that’s actually closer to 9 inches if we included the base on this magnificent bobblehead.
Curl and Twist
Already famous worldwide in the mid-1950s, this Elvis Aloha from Hawaii bobblehead is based on his appearance a couple of decades later.
His Aloha from Hawaii special, which was released in 1973, is right up there with Queen’s Live Aid concert in terms of iconic rock and roll performances.
And this collectible figure does the king justice: from the pose right up to the paint job.
Hell, if there’s one thing we could complain about, it’s that this bobblehead would have been better if they added more bedazzlement to the base.
But as it is, the black circular stand with Elvis’ name in gold font works just as well.
“A Fresh Elvis Presley Take!”
Our Rating: 5
Next up on our Elvis Presley bobble heads list is something that’s often overlooked.
However, it’s no less iconic in terms of this rock legend’s history (or the history of rock and roll for that matter).
Of course, we’re talking about this Royal Bobbles Elvis Presley collectibles figure based on his 1968 comeback appearance.
Capturing Historic Moment
Hardcore fans will surely enjoy how RB is able to capture this historic moment in the King’s career.
Or how important it was in the grand scheme of rock lore.
On the other hand, those of you who have just gotten into the King’s music and biography will definitely appreciate this rather fresh take on his appearance.
And you have to give it to him.
Elvis Presley born in Tupelo in Mississippi, grew up to be one of the most loved and cherished pop icons in American history has never looked so slick.
There’s no surprise here: this particular Elvis figure, as with most other RB releases in their limited edition bobblehead line, comes in a four-color box.
This is great news if you’re after box art and a more “premium” looking box.
Companies tend to NOT show the contents of their products if they belong to that category.
Call it corporate confidence or product trust, the point is that companies like RB know they don’t need to show what’s inside via a window box.
That’s because what you’re getting based on the prototype stills and the actual thing are pretty much the same.
Proper Elvis Avatar
In the case of Elvis bobbleheads like this, you’re getting a mint conditioncollectible figure worthy of a proper Elvis altar.
On the other hand, collectors and fans who want to display this bobblehead while they’re mint in sealed box are out of luck.
Back in Black
As far as Elvis bobbleheads go, you’re not getting the usual white jumpsuit here; this piece features Elvis Presley in a wonderfully all black suit.
In fact, you might not even be mistaken to think that this particular version of the King harkens back to his humble circumstances.
Back to when he was young—a sort of homage to his youth, you could say.
Regardless, though, you’re going to absolutely love how this meticulously hand-painted and individually hand-paintedpiece features Elvis Presley in a different yet familiar stance.
The pose is what you’d expect from the King: you got that bright disposition all accentuated by that trademark lip curl of his.
When it comes to size, you’re going to definitely appreciate how it almost stands at a more than respectable 9 inches with the base included.
Coming Back Gold
As far as Elvis Presley bobble heads are concerned, you’re getting the standard base here.
It consists of a circular black stand with the man’s name painted in gold.
Though a bit simple, admittedly, you’re going to like how the gold paint contrasts against an otherwise all black figure.
This hand painted bobblehead is officially licensed, so all the details are as accurate as they could be when compared to the real thing.
The overall paint job is of the highest quality, which means the apps were as precise as possible.
There are very little missed spots or overlaps when it comes to how the colors were applied to this thing.
All in all, prepare to edit your browsing history to snag this up online.
It’s one of the most affordable and good-looking RB releases out there right now.
“A Unique Elvis Bobblehead Figure”
Our Rating: 5
Alright, alright: so, we might be just cheating a little bit with this next entry in our Elvis Presley bobble heads list.
But you really have to know about this.
This Royal Bobbles Elvis Presley release belongs to the bobble category, but it’s not exactly one of your usual Elvis bobbleheads.
Instead, RB put a fresh and unique twist to this type of collectible figure by giving you this Elvis “bobbleHIP” figure.
After all, those gyrating hips—which made millions upon millions of little girls hyperventilate and fawn over the performer— are partly what made the man famous.
So, it’s only natural and absolutely no surprise that a company came up with this particular release.
Although this is an entirely new subset of RB releases, this one no less belongs to their limited-edition line of bobblehead toys.
As such, the packaging is, as always, a four-color box that features prototype still images of the product inside as well as some photos of Elvis himself.
You’re going to love this type of packaging if you intend on displaying this—honestly amazing—figure out of its original box.
On the other hand, those who prefer their collectibles in mint condition (meaning mint in sealed box) won’t be able to appreciate the product they’re getting here.
And that’s mainly because of the lack of any windows or cutouts in the packaging that let you see what’s in it.
Shaking and Gyrating
When it comes to Elvis Presley bobble heads, you’re going to have a hard time finding one that’s as peculiar as this one.
It’s not news that here at Shrunk Collectibles are fans of great sculpts.
And we believe you’re going to love how this particular piece features Elvis Presley in a very kinetic pose.
His mid hip swings here (and you could, well, bobble them if you want to).
The overall mold is based on his classic Ed Sullivan Show appearance.
In fact, poses like this look like Elvis hasn’t left the proverbial building at all, as it keeps the man’s iconic moments alive for generations to come.
And given that this is a bobbleHIP figure, RB was able to come as close as possible to the real-life King’s likeness.
So much so that this definitely looks less like a bobble figure than it is a nice statuette.
All in all, this is one of the best sculpts you’re going to see from the company’s Elvis line.
The paint applications on this thing are very well done.
However, it’s just a little flat when it comes to the hue selection if we’re going to be completely honest.
Elvis Presley bobble heads like this would definitely benefit from more gradients and hues on the suit instead of just going with something that’s rather muted.
Then, there’s the face, which makes it seem like Elvis needs a bit of vitamin D; the paint application is sort of pale.
But given that this is an RB release that’s meticulously hand-sculpted and individually hand-painted, we’re going to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Perhaps we simply got one of those rare duds, considering that RB almost always has the highest standards when it comes to their releases.
“A Cute Little Elvis Bobblehead”
Our Rating: 4.5
Elvis Presley bobble heads go hand in hand with a nice caricaturized depiction for this next entry that we have for you.
This is the Funko Elvis Blue Hawaii Wacky Wobbler, and it’s a nice refreshing take in so far as Elvis bobbleheads are concerned.
For one, we have to commend Funko for not going the POP route when it comes to designing this toy.
This piece features Elvis Presley not in his Aloha from Hawaii special appearance, but in his Blue Hawaii one.
In this he’s playing a ukulele with a nice lei around his neck.
And apart from that, you’re going to like how Funko manages to come up with a nice caricaturized version of the King for this collectible figure.
They struck the perfect balance between likeness and interpretation, so great job on that front.
By no means is this a premium release like the Royal Bobbles Elvis Presley line, and that’s no knock on Funko.
Rather, you’re getting a casual fan or noob collector tier-friendly memorabilia with this wacky wobbler.
Nice Window Box
The packaging comes in a nice window box.
So you could see the product that you’re getting even if you decide not to take it out of the box.
Honestly, we like this approach for a collectible on this tier.
It lets you know that you’re getting some nice stuff inside rather than just taking Funko’s word for it.
Sure, it looks less premium, but it’s convenient and space-saving given the overall size of this toy.
A Nice Interpretation
The pose is definitely not dynamic here, as it goes for an old school bobblehead feel.
That means it’s a simple pose of the figure standing front and center and with minimal implied motion.
We like what Funko did with it, really, as it makes this toy perfect for display on a shelf or on your car’s dashboard.
The size is decent, all things considered, as it stands at more or less 6 inches tall.
And the overall paint job and sculpt here is nicely on-point, as Funko does a serviceable job on both fronts.
Made of PVC
If there’s one thing that we want to complain about, it’s the fact that this is made of PVC, which is too light for a bobble head.
Still, at the price it’s going for, we can’t complain with the material choice.
You’re already getting more than you bargained for with the overall design of the figure.
“An Affordable Little Elvis Memorabilia!”
Our Rating: 4
Last up on our Elvis Presley bobble heads list is something for all you collectors who’ve been bitten by a bit of wanderlust.
This bobblehead is officially licensed by Midsouth Products and belongs to the dashboard bobble collectible figure niche.
It’s a very cute rendition of the rock and roll icon that stands at a miniscule 4.6 inches tall.
It’s a classic example of old school bobbleheads.
We’d even go so far as to say that this is a Merry Christmas gift you could give to even the most casual of fans.
And the fact that this is one of the most affordable Elvis Presley bobble heads just adds to the figure’s overall appeal.
On the Road
Being a dashboard bobblehead, it’s perfectly understandable that Midsouth Products went with a smaller scale here.
They went with a classic oversized head for the design.
It makes sure that you get as much movement from the spring mechanism inside when your car is moving, so that’s yet another plus for this toy.
Design-wise, you’re going to like that this is Elvis at his most iconic: it’s that legendary bejeweledwhite jumpsuit that’s synonymous with the King.
Room for Improvement
However, the paint job and likeness on this leaves just a bit room for more.
First off, it makes Elvis look old.
That might be your cup of tea, but if you’re looking for a more youthful and exuberant version of the man, this isn’t the best choice.
The paint applications have several overlaps and sloppy sections as well, which hits this figure negatively, but does not deter from the overall value of the thing.
Elvis Presley Bobble Heads—Our Verdict
The bobbleheads we presented here are just some of the finest examples of Elvis’ enduring legacy.
Whether you’re looking for a gift or a nice addition to your Elvis collection, you can get one to your preferences.
Sure, a nice statuette or collectible figure is always a great choice, but there’s just something about these bouncing figures that appeal to everyone.
So, when it comes to Elvis Presley bobble heads, you could definitely rock and roll with these!
