Carefully Selected Category
Sure, we could have done other categories; after all, Funko’s whole Pop line is so diverse that choosing just a single one is a gargantuan task.
We really mulled over whether we should do.
We went through Star Wars Pop list, Marvel Funko Pop checklist, Walking Dead Funko Pop list, Horror Funko Pop list, andDC Funko Pop list.
We ultimately decided to do this one.
Just What We Need Now
AFunko Pop Movies list would be perfect given how most of us are stuck at home right now, just binging on movies and TV.
And believe us, when it comes to Funko, there’s likely a Pop vinyl figure based on whatever movie franchise you’re a fan of.
The whole world is all the better for it.
Having the kind of Pop Movies figure for just about anyone means that no one gets left out.
We think just a tiny bit of solidarity is exactly what we need in this chaotic world right now.
Comin’ Together!
So, if you’re wondering which Pop figures made our list, you better press pause on your Netflix and chill session for now and keep on reading!
Maybe you’ll find Legolas Greenleaf, Vincent Vega, the whole cast of Secret Life of Pets, or hey, perhaps classic creations like those Universal MonstersChase variants.
All of the above you could add to your Pop shelf.
In any case, this Funko Pop Movies list is here not just to help you decide which ones to get.
It’s here to maybe steer you to expanding your tastes in movies, too.
We searched high and low for every movie-based Pop we could find to give you this list.
A Bit of Suspense
We think you’re going to love what we have in store for.
So, we hope that got you as curious as a Cheshire cat.
It could be anything from John Wick to Army of Darkness, to “IT’s” Pennywise with teeth vinyl toy and right up to the fire alarm Minion.

Our TOP 5 Funko Pop Movies List
1. Funko POP Movies: Harry Potter Action Figure (Standard)
“An Affordable Exclusive Figure”
Our Rating: 5
We here at Shrunk Collectibles are more than sure that we’re not the only ones who think that Harry Potter is now a bona fide classic.
There’s nothing you could say to change our minds.
And, well, this Harry Potter Pop vinyl figure definitely serves as a—erm—MAGICAL reminder why the series’ appeal still hasn’t waned after decades.
To be clear, too, this particular toy is based on Daniel Radcliffe’s earlier appearance as the Boy Who Lived.
That’s one of the main reasons it belongs in this Funko Pop Movies list: if nothing else, it gives you a pure shot of nostalgia.
Not Perfect Though
Though we will say this: it’s not exactly perfect, but its positive traits more than make up for its rather dated appearance.
It’s nothing to fault the figure for, though, considering this has aptly become a Funko Pop classic over the years as well.
Ready for School!
Speaking of its flaws, we’re specifically talking about the sculpt and paint job.
They make it very apparent that this is one figure from the Pop line’s earlier years.
By that, we mean you’re not getting a whole lot of detail and some pretty basic and flat paint apps on this toy.
That was the standard for early Pops—you know, before they managed to strike a balance between likeness and the trademark Pop style.
The Packaging
It also shows right from its packaging, since this is your usual Funko Pop window box with more or less minimal company and movie franchise logos.
Additionally, this one has one of those stickers on its windows as well, which denote that this is an exclusive release.
In this case, it’s a Hot Topic exclusive, so that means you won’t simply find this toy sitting on shelves (thank Dumbledore for online shopping, though!).
Magical Mixed Feelings
Honestly, we’re not huge fans of exclusive releases, like this one from Hot Topic.
That’s because adding it to your collection becomes harder than it usually is, and we Pop collectors know the struggle is real!
But here’s the thing:
In a twist that would make your eyes glow like a Patronus charm, this is one exclusive figure that you could still get this at SRP.
Straightforward and Cute
Harry himself, like we mentioned earlier, contains all the trappings of earlier Pop releases.
So it’s not that dissimilar to one of their Corpse Bride or Silence of the Lamb series releases.
By that, we mean you’re getting a very straightforward and cute figure with just the right amount of detail work done to it.
Particularly, we’re talking about Harry’s scar; his wand; his Hogwarts uniform; and his glasses, all executed in Funko’s signature cutesy style.
But that’s the whole point of Pops: leaving out the unnecessary details while still making any given character recognizable, so bravo!
2. Funko POP Movies: Harry Potter Hermione Granger Action Figure
“A Charming Hermione Granger Toy”
Our Rating: 5
Of course, what better way to follow up the previous entry in this Funko Pop Movies list than by adding everyone’s favorite nerdy witch, Hermione Granger!
Seriously, the Harry Potter universe would be bland without Hermione and her gingery locks.
Emma Watson’s career-making portrayal of the character was just spot-on, and this Pop figurine is a perfect tribute to both her and Gryffindor’s top pupil.
And we’re pretty sure we’re not alone when we say that you’re going to find this toy to be one of the cutest Pops out there.
But enough fidgeting around the halls, let’s talk about what makes this Hermione figure worthy of our Funko Pop Movies list.
It’s Levi-O-sah!
Not unlike the Harry Potter Pop vinyl figure that started off this list, Hermione is yet another one of those earlier Pop releases.
But don’t worry, though: just because it’s old doesn’t mean it’s going to be such a pain to add to your collection.
That’s one of its strong points right there.
Smooth Pop Transition
And if you’re wondering, sure, we could have as easily placed Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Legolas Greenleaf, Oz’s the Cowardly lion, or Vincent Vega in here.
But there’s just something about Hermione that makes her the perfect Pop cutie.
By that, we mean it was a pretty smooth transition for Hermione to go from onscreen icon to a miniaturized Pop figure.
Smooth is actually an understatement; we’d rather say that the character is a perfect basis for a Pop figure.
Hogwarts-Ready Packaging
This figure comes in Funko’s old school box.
To be fair, not much has changed with Pop packaging ever since they were first released in the early 2010s.
With this, you’re going to see all the usual Harry Potter and Funko logos you could expect from the line.
It’s frankly a bit mediocre, but that’s just the packaging; what matters is the figure itself.
Third Movies Figure
Hermione here is—drum roll, please— the third ever in their Movies figure list.
So you’re not just getting a toy here; you’re getting a piece of Funko Pop history.
And if you want to know about the toy’s overall look, suffice it to say that this is a classic Pop through and through.
It has very minimal sculpt detailing to it without sacrificing the signature look of the character itself.
So, you get her nice curly locks, her wand, and a robe.
However, they would have done this figure a big favor if they added a book in her other hand!
3. Funko POP Movies DC Wonder Woman Movie Wonder Woman Action Figure
“Affordable and Finely Detailed”
Our Rating: 5
Show your love for the Amazon princess with this Wonder Woman vinyl toy based on the DCEU version of the character.
We’re talking about Gal Gadot’s portrayal here, and this Pop version of the iconic superhero, well, does the character justice (no pun intended).
Even better, this is one release that you could as easily find at a comic con as you could at your local toy store.
That means it’s not that hard to add to your collection.
And believe us: you’re surely going to want to add this one to your display case.
And just to give you an idea, this is one of the more recent releases, so expect there to be more detail work done on this figure.
A Wonder-ful Figure!
Old school Funko Pop releases tend to do away with details and just stick to the necessary signature marks of a character, but this toy changes that.
And the whole reason we included this in our Funko Pop Movies list is because of the sheer quality done on this figure’s accessories and armor.
Packaging-wise, it’s still just the usual Pop fare here, so there’s nothing much to look at there.
However, Wonder Woman herself trumps other Pop releases like Dr. Ian Malcolm, Dr.Peter Venkman, or that old Ace Ventura Pop by how well-executed this toy is.
And as an added cherry on top, this toy from the Pop Movies figure line is not exclusive from Hot Topic or comic con.
So it’s pretty easy to get.
For Themyscira!
First and foremost, there’s the sculpt: it combines heavier detail work on the armor without sacrificing that trademark Pop cuteness the line is known for.
Suffice it to say that, this toy truly contains nice sculpt details that perfectly capture the DCEU Wonder Woman’s look.
Her boots are Exceptionally well done, as they contain notches and ribs on it and not just a smooth piece of molded vinyl.
Great Accessories
Accessories are flush here as well, as you get her god killer sword and shield.
Both finely detailed and shows how far the Pop line has come over the years with their production.
Plus, there’s the lasso of truth, too, which is always a cool addition to her wardrobe.
So, it goes without saying that this is an absolute must-have regardless if you’re a fan of the movie or otherwise.
4. Funko Pop! Movies: Harry Potter – Fawkes
“An Amazing and Fierce Pop!”
Our Rating: 5
When it comes to making a Funko Pop Movies list, characters like Shelob and her creepy spider legs or Legolas Greenleaf spring to mind.
However, we figured you should discover some lesser-known characters as well.
Case in point: this Funko Pop Movies list is including Fawkes, which a relatively minor player in the Harry Potter sage but is no less cool.
Now, if you had no idea who Fawkes was, it’s Dumbledore’s pet Phoenix, the one who saved Harry Potter at one point or another.
And when we set our eyes on this Funko Pop toy, it was automatic for us to include it in our little list.
A Flaming Figure
Breaking away from the previous entries from the Potter-verse in our Funko Pop Movies list, Fawkes is more detailed compared to the older Harry Potter Pop releases.
It’s a figure that contains sculpted feathers and a nice fuse of yellows and reds that really make the figure a step above its peers.
Additionally, it has something that nearly all Funko Pop figures don’t: a BASE, and it’s magnificent!
Honestly, you’re not going to think one bit that this is your standard Pop vinyl figure.
It has all the right stuff that make it stand out.
Believe us: the Edward Scissorhands Pop vinyl toy has nothing on this little Phoenix; it’s THAT cool!
A Glorious Base
Although it’s a non-removable part, which is the only gripe we have with this toy, it’s nicely painted in the same hues as the figure.
However, we think making it translucent would have been better.
The sculpt is very reminiscent of flame effects as well, which is just right for a figure like this.
And with the Fawkes figure itself having this both fierce and cute expression to it, this is definitely a must-have for any Pop collector.
The only problem here is that you’ll have to pay more than SRP for it, but it still won’t break the bank.
5. Funko POP Movies: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Star Lord Toy Figure
“The Greatest Star Lord Pop!”
Our Rating: 4.5
There’s no question about it: Guardians of the Galaxy is an overnight classic.
And there’s absolutely no doubt that one of the reasons why is Chris Pratt and his portrayal of Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord.
Given how popular the series is, it’s no surprise that Funko has produced a Pop figure based on this galactic scoundrel.
As such, we’re getting a more modern-era Pop release here.
So it’s a figure that has a degree of quality that’s above and beyond old releases like the fire alarm Minion or the Pop Ace Ventura.
Of course, that’s not to say that Peter Quill himself is just an absolutely cool character to do a Pop toy of.
A Galactic Pop!
This is undeniably one good-looking toy if you look at it from the neck down.
Of course, the head sculpt here is no joke either: it’s got that trademark Peter Quill look with Pop’s signature design sensibilities.
Those painted eyebrows, his scruffy beard and mustache combo, and hair captures Quill’s onscreen likeness marvelously (you’re welcome for that pun, by the way).
The only problem we have is that they opted to paint the eyebrows, beard, and mustache when they simply could have sculpted it as well.
But enough about that: the real show starts from the neck down.
Get That Bounty
Even from first glance, you’ll immediately note how nicely painted and sculpted the blaster accessories are in this toy, so great job there!
The entire body sculpt, contains large amounts of detail work that include creases and folds on his clothing; it’s just well-done, hands-down.
But what really pushes this into being a worthy addition to our Funko Pop Movies list is how accurate Funko captured the character here.
For example, look at the printed shirt that appears in the movie.
Then, there’s that necklace, which is amazing because they actually sculpted it instead of just painting it on the figure.
Bottom line: you should add this Peter Quill toy to your shelf, especially when you also find out that it’s not overpriced in the market.
Funko Pop Movies list—The Verdict
The great thing about Funko Pops is that it’s so diverse in its licenses.
It really doesn’t matter what you’re a fan of, because they probably have a figure of it available for you.
And speaking of enjoying what you love, these movie-based figures on this list are just options based on our opinions.
If something’s not here, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad.
Who knows, maybe you like Ace Ventura, the Secret Life of Pets, Corpse Bride, or the Universal Monsters?
Just Go for It
Whatever it is, you can’t go wrong with Funko and what they have to offer with their amazing vinyl toy offerings from their Pop line.
So just go for it!
So, to end this Funko Pop Movies list, we’ll leave you with this: keep on collecting and stay safe out there, true believer!
