Nothing says whimsy better than a Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list, which is why we made this handy review just for you Funko fans out there!
You know how relatively storied the franchise is, since it debuted in the mid-2000s.
This post, its photos and table include links to products on other websites. If you purchase something through these links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Still, Funko’s got a whole treasure trove of characters in their hands to make Pops out of, and it’s amazing!
Seriously, no other company does cute vinyl toys like Funko.
The reason why we did this Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list instead of other collectibles like box lunch Kingdom Hearts figures or Pez Kingdom Hearts toys!
Hard to Choose
And even then, we had a hard time choosing whether we should do a Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list or one focusing on their Mystery Mini line.
You know, the ones that come in mystery boxes.
But you guys know how it is: nothing beats Pops when it comes to cute collector’s items.
So we searched for all the Funko Pop Disney Kingdom Hearts III figures we could find to give you this.
This list could have anything from glow-in-the-dark vinyl Disney chase Pops to the Sora Monsters Inc. Fall Convention exclusive.
Learn which of these amazing figures made it into our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list right here!
Our TOP 5 Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop List
1. Funko Pop! Disney: Kingdom Hearts 3 – Aqua, Multicolor
“Cool and Cute Aqua Toy!”
Our Rating: 5
Starting things off is none other than Aqua, one of the keyblade wielders from the franchise and an absolute badass.
Sure, we could have started with a Sora, Goofy, and Donald combo, but we love going out from left field.
Because this is exactly what Aqua gives you guys: it’s a Pop toy that mixes the figure line’s trademark adorability with the character’s inherent badassery.
So suffice it to say this isn’t your typical Pop figure.
What It’s Good With…
We wholeheartedly believe that this Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list entry that would go perfect with something like that Sora riding Heartless wave deluxe toy.
But that may just be our personal preference.
Or maybe if you’re into classic Pops, that Mickey Kingdom Hearts figure or Halloween Town Sora would be perfect companions to this one.
A Key to Your Heart
Yes, it’s automatic to say that you’re getting a cute toy with Pops.
But this Funko Pop Disney Kingdom Hearts III toy has that cool Square Enix air to it, which you’ll love.
Even if you discount the head piece here, which is your standard Funko Pop offering, you’ll find that this is a total banger from the neck down.
For one, this Aqua toy—much like the Sora Lion form or Donald Tron figure— has some nice, intricate detailing on the costume.
What we’re saying here is, don’t expect majority of it to be lazily painted sections; these are actually sculpted (though not removable) parts.
Torso Strap
A personal favorite of ours here at Shrunk Collectibles is that torso strap on her.
It is a nice touch that contrasts with an otherwise monotone color scheme for the character.
Swing that Blade
Another notable feature on this Pop toy is how nicely sculpted its tunic piece is, which drapes around her lower back and down to her knees.
Add the fact that you’re also getting some nicely detailed boots here and you have an instant classic.
That is why this rightfully belongs in our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list.
Of course, a finely molded piece for the keyblade completes the whole package, but you can’t remove it from Aqua’s hands.
Easy to Get
But the best part about this Funko Pop Disney Kingdom Hearts III figure?
It’s not a Hot Topic or Fall Convention exclusive; you could easily get this toy.
And even better, it’s at a decent price, which sometimes even goes below Pops’ SRP.
2. Funko Pop Disney: Kingdom Hearts – Sora Collectible Vinyl Figure
“The Greatest Pop Figure Ever!”
Our Rating: 4.5
Next up on our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list is something classic, of course: it’s Sora!
And no, we’re not talking about the Sora Monsters Inc. orange version, the Sora Final form toy, or even that cool Space Paranoids Sora.
We’re talking about Sora’s classic costume here, because nothing beats that iconic look.
Seriously, this Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list won’t be complete without adding the franchise’s main protagonist here.
But that’s not the only reason it’s worthy of being included.
Most Favorite Pop
We’d even go so far as to say that this isn’t just one of our favoriteFunko Pop Disney Kingdom Hearts III figures.
This is one of our favorite Pops of all time, period.
And you’re about to find out why right here, right now!
Classic Keyblade Wielder
Despite the numerous costume variations, Sora, Goofy, and Donald have these constants that have become cornerstones for the franchise.
Yes, Goofy will always be the shield bearer and Donald is the party’s mage.
And then Sora is the warrior, complete with that sweet totally Square Enix designed base costume of his.
Great Pop in Mediocre Package
Forget the packaging here, though, as it’s mediocre.
You’re just getting pretty much what you’d get from any other Pop toy, be it a Mickey Kingdom Hearts figure or a Sora flockedFall Convention exclusive.
But you don’t collect Pops for the boxes; it’s what’s inside that matters.
And, guys, what’s in this sweet package is one of the best Pop figures you’ll ever find.
Simply put, this toy looks like it came straight out of the movies, moments like that in our collecting lives give us the good kind of chills.
All the Way!
The thing is, this is perhaps the most screen accurate Pop toy we’ve ever seen, as it comes as faithfully close as possible to its source material.
Sure, there’s that trademark Pop head that comes with the beady eyes and small, sharp nose.
But other than that? This is pure Square Enix magic right here.
Great Hair Sculpt
Honestly, we rarely ever commend hair sculpts on Pops, as they almost always tend to overshadow the source material of any given figure.
But this one is perfect.
Suffice it to say that this is exactly what Sora’s hair looks like in-game (not during those movies moments, of course).
And that’s just the beginning of it.
Keyblade Denizen Style
Of all the Pops we’ve reviewed before, this Sora toy is probably the one that has the most intricate body sculpt we’ve ever seen.
Just look at that: it’s got perfect paint applications to it, but more than that, it’s got some top-notch minute sculpting done on it.
From his trademark gloves right down to all those straps underlaying his little jacket, Funko did perhaps their best work on this Pop toy.
As for the keyblade, sure, it looks plain, but that’s how it’s supposed to look since this is classic Sora we’re talking about here.
Perhaps our only gripe with this figure is the fact that it’s above SRP now and by the looks of it, it won’t go lower anytime soon.
3. Funko POP Disney: Kingdom Hearts Mickey Toy Figures
“Toy Fit for a King!”
Our Rating: 4.5
Sure, that Sora toy from earlier in this Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list might be one of our all-time favorite Pops ever.
But if we’re strictly talking about Funko Pop Disney Kingdome Hearts III figures, this king Mickey Kingdom Hearts toy is one of the best there is.
Move over, vinyl Disney Mystery Mini toys, because this is one Pop figure that does the rodent king of Kingdom Hearts justice.
Seriously, you can’t go wrong with this or other Kingdome Hearts figures from the line.
Whether it be Donald Tron or that glow-in-the-dark chase figure of orange Monsters Inc. Goofy toy; they’re all THAT good.
But enough about that, let’s talk about this Mickey Kingdom Hearts Pop!
All Hail the Mouse
One of our only complaints about this figure is, as always, Funko’s lackluster Pop packaging.
It has pretty much remained unchanged since they first released these cute collectibles way back when.
We mean, come on, it’s one thing to be iconic; it’s another to be uninspired and repetitive.
Amazingly Sculpted Pop
Thankfully, that lazy aesthetic doesn’t blow over to the figure itself.
It’s the opposite in fact, and that’s a good thing, because as with the classic Sora figure, this is one amazingly sculpted Pop toy!
Hell, the only reason we prefer Sora over this Mickey Kingdom Hearts release is because of the head sculpt.
Sure, it’s refreshing not to have that basic oval sculpt.
But there’s just something about this Pop Mickey head that makes it look more rodent-like than, say, cartoony.
But apart from that, this is definitely one of the best Pop toys out there.
Regal Garbs
And what makes this toy such a banger is everything from the neck down.
The amount of minute details put on this toy’s sculpt perfectly captures how Mickey appears in the games this toy series is based on.
And the sheer fact that Funko didn’t cut corners and opt for a pure paint job here is something you’re definitely going to appreciate.
Suffice it to say that even those zippers and straps are sculpted.
Not to mention, too, that those boots have sculpted straps as well, which makes this Pop toy extra special.
Sheer Perfection
Of course, sculpts aren’t enough to make a Pop, well, POP—which is why Funko probably also did one of their best paint applications here.
We’re talking about a predominantly black, white, red, and yellow color scheme here, and you’ll absolutely love it.
As for that keyblade? It might look basic, but the paint apps carry it by making it a nice metallic gold.
And perhaps the best part about this figure is that, unlike that Sora flocked release or that Hot Topic orange Monsters Inc. toy, you can easily get it.
And by that, we mean you could still get this one at SRP, which makes this a perfect addition to our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list.
4. Funko Pop Disney: Kingdom Hearts 3 – Riku Collectible Figure
“Overpriced but Amazing Toy!”
Our Rating: 5
Oh, Riku, make up your mind: are you with us or against us?
But seriously, regardless of the character’s alignments in the series, this Pop Riku toy is a total no-brainer in our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list.
We mean, just look at it: this is yet another fine example of Funko killing it with their sculpts.
It makes us think that they’re going all in on these Funko Pop Disney Kingdom Hearts III toys.
Because as far as Kingdom Hearts figures go, this Riku is by far one of the coolest characters you could add to your Pop collection!
Question is, what makes this toy stand above its peers?
Keyblade Army
Throughout Kingdom Hearts’ run, there have been many keyblade wielders, from Sora (not to mention his clones) to Roxas, and even Kairi.
But there’s just something about Riku wielding that world-opening blade that makes him such a perfect addition to our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list.
Probably it’s the sheer badassery it evokes.
As always, you could set the Pop box aside, because it’s pretty much your run of the mill fare.
But when it comes to the figure itself? Boys and girls, you can’t go wrong with this one.
This is one of those cases where Pop’s design sensibilities and Square Enix’s designs manage to create a seamless vinyl Disney toy.
It’s Radical, Man
There are but a couple of flaws you could find in this vinyl figure.
First, and let’s get this straight out of the way: this toy has become as pricey as a deluxe Pop like the Sora riding Heartless wave release.
That means you’ll end up paying above SRP if you want this in your collection.
Second, the head sculpt—hair included—is pretty much Pop stylized through and through, by which we mean it could have done better with the hair.
Finest Riku
But apart from those two things, this is Riku at his finest.
As with most Pop figures, the sculpt and paint job from the neck down is what makes or breaks this figure.
And in this case, boy, does it MAKE the figure well!
Serrations and Leather
Whereas other releases based on Sora, Goofy, and Donald tend to look cartoony, Riku does the exact opposite.
They provide a very clean and detailed mold on its whole body.
For one, the transition between the undershirt and the jacket on this figure has just the right amount of thickness.
It’s that way so as not to make the figure too thick and, at the same time, not too flat.
Great Sculpted Details
But what makes it even better is the addition of actual sculpted details like the side pockets and the plaid pattern on the hem.
They’re just nicely done, hands down.
And if we’re talking about the keyblade, man, it’s on point: this is as Riku as Riku could get -very badass.
The boots are no joke either, as Funko managed to create a specific mold for it that even gives you sculpted laces instead of flat, painted ones.
Primo Paints
But the real hero in this release is how amazingly done the paint apps are.
It’s the reason that pushes the toy right into our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list,
We’re dealing with cool colors here made up of mostly blues and grays, but that pop of yellow on his shoulders tie everything up.
And that plaid detail? That’s some fine detail work by Funko right there!
So, yeah, even if it’s a bit overpriced in spite of not being a Hot Topic or Fall Convention exclusive, we’re going to give it a pass.
This is pricey, but it’s definitely worth it.
5. Funko POP Disney: Kingdom Hearts Goofy Toy Figures
“Rare but Worth It!”
Our Rating: 5
Call us biased, but we saved the best for last in our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list with this Goofy Pop!
Kingdom Hearts figures—particularly Sora, Goofy, and Donald— tend to be too commonplace; that is, unless they’re done right.
And not only has Funko done right here, but they’ve done Goofy justice!
Forget that Sora flocked release; forget those Pez Kingdom Hearts dispensers; hell, forget those orange Monsters Inc. exclusives you could get from Hot Topic.
Because this is the Goofy Pop toy to end all Goofy Pop toys!
Classic Goofy!
We’d be lying if we said Goofy wasn’t one of our favorite characters from the franchise.
But that’s not the only reason we added this to our Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list.
Thing is, this toy possesses all the qualities that make Pop such a popular line.
The Things We Like
First off, there’s no clash between the source material and Funko Pop’s design language here.
They’re both based on the cute aesthetic, so the transition is seamless.
In this case, Goofy looks SO FREAKING ADORABLE!
Second, the paint job done on this toy is perfect—both with the color blocking based on the design and the application itself, which is spot-on.
And third, this is the best-sculpted Pop toy we’ve ever seen in our time reviewing these collectibles.
Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list—the Conclusion!
The thing that made us fall in love with the KH franchise is how beautifully designed each and every character is, even the most minor ones.
And maybe we could chalk it up to both Square Enix and Disney in this case.
But with Funko’s Pop line, they went above and beyond in order to give you the best that the line has to offer.
Go ahead choose one (or more) of the figures from this Kingdom Hearts Funko Pop list we carefully compiled for you.
